Maresca checks fitness of Sanchez, Nkunku for Liverpool game

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has said he will wait to see if first-choice goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and striker Christopher Nkunku are fit for the league game against Liverpool (May 4), โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที with the aim of getting three points to maintain a Champions League place.

Both players were absent from the first leg of the Conference League semi-final, where they won 4-1 against Djurgardens in Sweden yesterday, due to their physical condition not being 100%.

But if everything goes well in Friday and Saturday’s training, Maresca believes that at least the Spanish goalkeeper will be able to play.

“At the moment, only Marc Guehiu and Aaron Anselmino are definitely out,” the Italian coach said.

“Christopher Nkunku had a little problem. He didn’t join us in Sweden.”

“It’s the same with Robert Sanchez too – he can still train outdoors, compared to ‘Christo’, our goalkeeper is in a better situation.”

“Just Robert didn’t go to Sweden. Let’s wait and see and evaluate both of them again on the morning of the competition.”
